Just today, lead designer John Galliano, once Dior’s shining star in their fashion department, was debarred on impending accusations of racial hate remarks thrown at a French couple in a Paris joint.

Police reportedly visited a bar in Paris’s Marais section in response of a call – they found the man drunkenly hurling a steam of insults at a French couple, this was nearly a week in advance of Galliano’s impending presentation for Dior in Paris.

Complaints had been filed against Galliano for making anti-Semetic and racially slur remarks – illegal in France, but his lawyer, Stephane Zerbib, says his client firmly and formally denies making any such remarks to the two.

Dior has remarked that it has absolutely no mercy on toward hateful and such anti-Semitic speech and behavior and is watching the case closely for further actions.

In anticipation of the results of the case, Dior has barred John Galliano, lead designer, in the meantime from his job and services.

After the incident at the bar, a popular drinking location that is often ripe with star models and actors, the man was brought to a police station and was asked to take a sobriety test – it confirmed their suspicions – he had taken alcohol, however he was allowed to leave and he was brought home by Police officers.

Stephane Zerbib has called the treatment of Dior’s leading and shining star talent has been excessive and hopes the matters will soon be cleared up.
